A few things to consider before we head out.
Measure your space
To help your delivery go smoothly, please measure your space ahead of time to make sure your purchase will fit in your desired space, as well as the areas it will pass through during delivery. Pro tip: Try our Furniture Measuring + Delivery guide →
Have a question about a specific item's dimensions? We're happy to track them down, even if we have to measure it ourselves.
Stairs & Elevators
In-home orders requiring delivery beyond two flights of ten stairs, or requiring multiple elevator stops, will be subject to additional charges. Let us know in advance if your delivery requires additional stairs, or if you need the weight or dimensions of any item.
Certificate of Insurance
We recommend determining if your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for deliveries. If so, let our delivery partners know when they contact you to schedule your delivery appointment. Any questions? We're here to help at trade@bludot.com or 844.425.8368, ext. 4.
Remote areas
We try our best to deliver all orders in a timely manner, but if you live in a remote area, there may be delays. Let us know in advance if you live on a mountain peak or other challenging delivery location, and we'll work with you to come up with a solution.
Delivery outside of 48 contiguous states + Canada
We offer FedEx and Basic Freight/Dock shipping to Canada. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii can be quoted on a case-by-case basis. International shipments generally require customer-coordinated ex-works shipping. Please contact us at trade@bludot.com.
Common Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
Deliveries of in-stock small parcel items typically take place within 3-10 business days of order placement. In-stock freight items typically arrive within 6-21 business days of order placement and are dependent on scheduling availability for the local area. Final delivery options are determined in checkout based on your cart’s overall contents and ship-to address. We are unable to split-ship orders placed using Shop Pay or PayPal as the payment method, or orders shipping outside of the United States.
How do I check my order status?
Order status updates are communicated via email. More information regarding the status of particular orders can be seen by logging into your account. If you have any questions, please contact us attrade@bludot.com.
Do you split-ship orders?
Our policy is to hold orders to ship complete unless otherwise specified. You will be offered the option to split-ship at checkout. We do not charge for split-shipping backorders, though we will cap inside deliveries at two shipments/delivery appointments and small items may be shipped via FedEx. Split-shipping is not available for orders shipping to Canada.
Do you provide expedited shipping?
We can provide expedited shipping options for some orders during off-peak times. For more information about expedited shipping, please contact us at trade@bludot.com or 844.425.8368, ext. 4.
Other shipping + delivery policies
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or change your order, please let us know as soon as possible. Please note, some orders may ship within hours, and it may not be possible to make changes. Once an order has left our warehouse, the shipping fees are non-refundable.
Warehouse fees
If you cannot accept delivery for an extended period of time after your order has shipped, you will be charged a fee of $35 per day to store your order.
Shipment at a later date
You have the option to select a future ship date upon checkout. Note that the selected ship date indicates when your order will first enter our shipping queue—it is not the delivery date nor the actual ship date. The actual ship date may be 5-10 business days after the selected date.
We are able to hold stock for your order for up to 60 days. If your requested ship date is further than 60 days from the time of order placement, we cannot guarantee that inventory will be held for your order. If your ship date is TBD, place your order during M-F business hours and call us at 844.425.8368, ext. 4. We can change requested ship dates before an order leaves our warehouse. Once your order has shipped, it will be subject to warehouse fees.
Redelivery fees
If redelivery of your order is required due to a missed delivery appointment with our carrier, there will be a $149 fee.
Reroute fees
Please inquire if you need to change the destination of an order after it has shipped. We are often able to accommodate changes; however, the minimum fee is $149 for freight deliveries.
