Do I have a local sales rep?
If you live within the area of any of our retail showrooms our store associates are there to serve as local sales representatives. Contact information can be found here.

How long is my quote valid?
Pricing quotes are valid for 30 days. Quotes do not hold inventory for later purchase. Product availability is subject to change until your order is received. Quotes generated during sale are only valid during the sale period. A PDF copy of your quote must be supplied to trade@bludot.com when requesting a price adjustment.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
We are able to offer quick pricing estimates over the phone, but we encourage you to generate quotes online. More information about how to create a quote can be found here. We publish a price list regularly for quick reference. Email trade@bludot.com for the pricelist link!
Can I place my order over the phone?
For us to place your order, we need to have written authorization of your order. If you would like to place your order through a Trade Department associate, we accept purchase orders via email at trade@bludot.com or orders may be placed online while logged in to your Trade account.
Can I request a future ship date?
Absolutely. We can hold you order to ship at a later time (up to 60 days from time of order) as long as we know before the product leaves our warehouse. You will be given an option to select a future ship date at checkout, and items on your order will be held to ship at your desired date. We can help if you have any questions about shipping at trade@bludot.com.
Will the shipper contact me prior to delivery?
All Basic Dock, Threshold, and In-Home Delivery + Assembly shipments will be delivered at a pre-scheduled delivery window. Items shipped ia FedEx are sent no signature required, and no appointment will be scheduled. You may opt into electronic tracking updates by entering your phone number or email via the Track It link in your shipping confirmation email.
Do you offer custom products or COM?
If you have a request for a custom product modification, please email us at custom@bludot.com to begin the conversation and assess feasibility.
Are your products commercial grade?
Most of our products are suitable for contract use. We take pride in helping you find the right product for your space and needs.

All new product development begins with the contract lens in mind, and most of our seating is BIFMA tested and approved.

Are your lights UL-listed?
All lighting designs are either UL or ETL listed. UL-listed inventory will be added on a rolling basis. Please email trade@bludot.com for the current UL-listing status.
Are there minimums for orders?
There are no minimum orders for the trade program, and orders may be placed for personal use.
Do you have a sample program? How can I complete a sit test?
We do not currently have a sample program. Please visit one of our showrooms or contact us at trade@bludot.com to discuss other options.
Where can I see Blu Dot products?
To see our full collection of designs presented in cool, well-merchandized spaces, visit one of our stores in person or virtually. Additionally, we have international locations in Sydney, Australia and Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico.

Do you collect sales tax?
If your order is shipping to California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Texas, Washington D.C., or Washington state we are required to collect sales tax unless you hold a valid resale certificate in that state (download here). If you are tax exempt, email your signed and dated exempt documentation to us at trade@bludot.com. If you are being charged sales tax and are tax exempt, we can help. Email us at trade@bludot.com.
What are your payment options?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We also accept checks and wire transfers. Checks must be received and your order paid in full before we will ship your order. Email trade@bludot.com for full remittance instructions. All orders are billed in US Dollars. Please include your full Blu Dot order number with all remittances.
Who designs your products?
We do! Our talented, award-winning design team designs all of our entire collection in house.
Do you offer fabric and/or color swatches?
There is a link to request a free fabric or color swatch located on each product page if a swatch is available. Email us

Do your products require assembly?
Some of our products require assembly. Assembly instructions are available for download in the product details of each product page. If you have questions, please contact us at trade@bludot.com.
What if my products arrives damaged?
Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. While we do our best to design and package products for safe delivery, sometimes damages occur. Please save all of your paperwork and packaging materials and contact us immediately with photos and order information at trade@bludot.com or 844.425.8368, ext. 4 to arrange for a replacement to be sent to you.
What do I do if I'm missing parts?
If you are missing parts, we will make it right and replace them. Please contact us at trade@bludot.com or 844.425.8368, ext. 4 to receive the necessary parts.
