A modern interpretation of the classic café chair, Dibs is crafted from steam-bent solid beech wood to offer a gently contoured, comfortable form.
Traditional mortise-and-tenon construction and precision finger joints offer long-lasting strength and durability.
Available in natural or painted beech veneer finishes.
Durable plastic glides protect floors and reduce friction.
BIFMA-rated, this piece is built to last. It offers the quality you want at home with the durability required for commercial environments.

Design Story:

Dibs Dining Chair

Designed 2020

Dibs takes its inspiration from classic all-wood café chairs. Like classic café chairs, we wanted ours to be easy to maintain and work well in all spaces. Unlike classic café chairs, we wanted ours to be over-the-top comfortable. Steam bending the wood let us achieve curvature without interrupting the grain. It also eliminated the material waste of machining shapes from larger blocks of wood. Beech ply was then added to complement the skeletal structure, resulting in a marriage of forms with thoughtful woodworking details that's both easy on the eyes and the posterior.
