Saul Alegria
Saul Alegria makes color do things you didn’t know were possible. He is quietly prolific and equally at ease with ceramics, acrylics, inks and watercolors. As you can see with “Rhinocerous Beetle,” his delightfully loose interpretations of members of the animal, plant and robot kingdoms have a calming presence, much like the artist himself. Alegria began making art at NIAD Art Center soon after graduating from Richmond High School in 2009.
