  • This design is crafted from a mixture of cement, sand, fiberglass, and terrazzo stone. Supportive interior webbing adds strength and durability.
  • Each piece is made from natural materials and finished by hand, leading to variations in tone, texture and markings.
  • Table is pre-waxed for protection, but periodic re-waxing is recommended to maintain its condition over time.
  • To protect the product's finish and to extend the life of your outdoor furniture, store it in a dry location when not in use or during periods of inclement weather. Design Story:

The Hunky Dory Collection

Designed 2023

We wanted to offer a collection of small tables that exhibited a more organic aesthetic and looked equally at home indoors and out. We loved the tactile appearance and sustainability of terrazzo, a material consisting of varied aggregate embedded in concrete. The result is unique, random surface patterns that bring spontaneity to each piece. To balance the intricacy of the material, we opted for a simple shape. We added a thick overhanging top to suggest Hunky Dory’s function as a table and provide an easy edge to grab when moving the tables about. The name references the material’s heft — hunky. It’s also the name of an album by David Bowie, whose Ziggy Stardust alter ego was a glamorous space traveler who came to earth to entertain humanity. Just like our Hunky Dory.
