“using this in a bedroom without a closet. It provides lots of storage space (we've put baskets on the open shelves) and still looks elegant. It does take some time to put together”

Frequently Asked Questions

How much weight can each shelf and drawer support when fully loaded?

Each shelf and drawer in the Garden Party Wardrobe System is designed for everyday clothing storage and can comfortably support typical loads such as folded garments, denim, and accessories. For longevity, it’s best to distribute weight evenly and avoid overloading beyond standard household use.

Are the shelves adjustable or removable to accommodate tall items like garment boxes or boots?

Shelves not adjustable.

Does the wardrobe include built-in ventilation to prevent moisture buildup around clothing?

The wardrobe does not include active ventilation systems; however, its construction allows for natural airflow. For humid environments, placing the unit in a well-ventilated room or using moisture absorbers is recommended to help protect clothing.

How stable is the unit when fully loaded—does it require wall anchoring for safety?

The wardrobe is designed to be stable under normal use when properly assembled. Designed to free stand. However, wall anchoring is recommended—especially in households with children or in high-traffic areas—to ensure maximum safety and prevent tipping.

Can additional modules or sections be added later to expand storage?

The modular nature of the Garden Party Wardrobe System allows for expansion. Additional units or compatible components can be added over time, depending on availability, to grow with your storage needs.

What is the recommended care routine to maintain the surface finish and prevent scratches?

To maintain the finish, wipe surfaces regularly with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pads. Using felt pads on stored items and handling hardware gently will help prevent scratches and preserve the wardrobe’s appearance over time.
