Parentheses Chair

Don’t be deceived by Parentheses's aesthetically pleasing, subtly organic silhouette. This is a sturdy seat that will effortlessly hold up to a twenty course tasting menu or taco Tuesday. With a goal of achieving a chair built from pure forms, we spent eons tinkering with how all the pieces come together, edge-to-edge, without overlapping. To make that happen we had to design custom brackets, navigate some fussy upholstery details, and hide a bunch of zippers, but the results were well worth the extra effort. Chef's kiss. Parentheses is offered in a delicious range of upholstery—Sylvan bone, Butterscotch leather, Moss velvet, and Gabro grey—and for the finishing touch, we added our signature sleek Blu dot glides. Despite its name, Parentheses is anything but an afterthought.
