Dibs Dining Chair

Designed 2020

Dibs takes its inspiration from classic all-wood café chairs. Like classic café chairs, we wanted ours to be easy to maintain and work well in all spaces. Unlike classic café chairs, we wanted ours to be over-the-top comfortable. Steam bending the wood let us achieve curvature without interrupting the grain. It also eliminated the material waste of machining shapes from larger blocks of wood. Beech ply was then added to complement the skeletal structure, resulting in a marriage of forms with thoughtful woodworking details that's both easy on the eyes and the posterior.

Standard shipping rates to ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC are calculated at 10% of your merchandise total. Contact us for the best possible rates to NT, SA, TAS and WA.
'In stock + ready to ship' items will be dispatched to you in 10 business days. Other designs ship from Blu Dot HQ in the USA with an estimated 12–14-week lead time. You will be notified if the item you have ordered has an extended lead time or incurs international shipping delays beyond our control.
Your order will be delivered to your door via courier or furniture mover depending on your location and the overall order size. We will contact you in advance to co-ordinate a suitable delivery day and time.
Inside delivery and assembly is available to most capital cities at an additional charge upon request.
Please note, delivery drivers do not walk dogs, cook meals or take off their shirts.
