I am very satisfied with this desk. I was looking for a modernist desk that was stylish, not-bulky, sturdy, and reasonably priced. The Stash Desk accomplished all these goals! Additionally, don't be fooled by the small-ish looking size. The top is more than large enough for a computer, several open books, a light, and a teapot. The drawer problem was fixed by the company so there is no worry about that concern. Additionally, although the color looks jet black in the photos, the color is more like a dark dark brown. I have paired it with a white "Real Good Chair" with a black seating pad and it matches perfectly! But, you could also put it in a room with dark wood furniture and the Stash Desk would blend in well too! I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Bought this for a home office (which is in a smallish room). Ended up returning it. Its just a bit flimsy and overall not designed to the standards of the many other pieces I've gotten from BluDot.

By flimsy, I mean I'd never sit on it, and its a bit wobbly (if you are writing on it, it will sort of shake back and forth as you write).

I'd say the quality it suited to its (very affordable) price, but more suited for a student in a dorm.

Im software engineer so i spend a lot of time at this desk which is an attractive compliment to my Herman Miller Sayl chair. When im feeling creative, I move stuff around the desk to draw and paint and find the desk versatile. What I'd like to see improved is the drawer stopper; it doesnt stay in position so unfortunately, have pulled out the drawer too far a couple of times. This would be a simple but great improvement. Furthermore, wires are my enemy so a system to hide wires and power adapters would be ideal.

I work from home and this desk is well-designed for my purposes and aesthetics. Nice clean lines and lots of surface space for laptop + writing, yet compact. If you're pressed for space like I am, it's a nonintrusive addition to a bedroom/office or office/living room. I recommend the desk in maple/light gray: it's mellow and doesn't look like a clunky piece of office furniture.

The main attraction is the beautiful walnut top. Make no mistake that's what you're paying for here, and it's incredibly well done with the beveled edges.

Only issue is the drawer has no real closing mechanism, sliders or some type of wheel system would've been nice. Wood-on-wood contact makes for pretty rough/crude sliding, not smooth as a desk at this price point should be.

I really like this desk! The only think that bugs me about it is that I keep pulling the drawer out. Some stoppers on the drawer would be awesome. Otherwise, I love it!

the round lock screws bend out so they dont lock on the pins, specifically on rails that hold the drawer to the desk!! i have had the rail come loose several times, and even had to pound small lock screws back tight because they spread apart under pressure!! other than that, LOVE IT!!!
