First off, I can't tell you how many compliments I've received about my Animal sofa over the last year and half of ownership - from "it's so comfortable" to "OMG! Who makes this" this list goes on and on - and frankly, it's made my living room the envy of all my friends.

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing the Animal at first as I had never seen one in person outside of the Blu Dot catalogue and website. But let me tell you this, the day that the delivery folks unleashed the Animal out of it's box/cage and into my living room is one I will remember forever. From the sofa's sharp angular shaping in the rear to the incredibly poignant red stiching on the front seating, this is a piece I hope to carry with me for many years to come.

We actually bought the big animal that is not available anymore. We got the dark roast and love the red contrast stitching on the seat. I like how narrow the sofa is. That really helps in a slender room. The cushion is firm which is good so It will keep it's square shape longer. The back of the of the sofa offers little in support being so low. The metal base is very cool. All in all, if you want an extremely square looking sofa like we did, you won't mind giving up a little comfort in the process.
