I have lived with this sofa for about 4 years and vacuum it on a weekly basis. We take good care of our furniture and this piece looks extremely worn for its age. First, the fabric is IMPOSSIBLE to clean, especially if you have dogs. Our pets are not allowed on the furniture but the hair clings to the fabric and is incredibly time consuming to vacuum. The frame has warped on the arm where we tend to lean back for watching television. The cushions are cheaply filled and misshapen. Keep searching....this is not a couch worth buying.

I regret this purchase. It looks great in magazines and on the web. The back cushions however are filled with material that in no way retains it's shape or offers any support. Even on day one, after sitting on the sofa the cushions were collapsed and scrunched up. In the end we had to have them refilled by another company with sturdier filling (at a cost of $230). The other thing that I am constantly aware of is the shallow depth front-to-back. This sofa seriously needs at least 7 more inches in that dimension to look proportioned, and to be able to sit comfortably with your legs curled up. The one piece seat cushion is also a bad idea -- you can't rotate individual cushions to spread out non-uniform wear. The seat is now noticeably sagging on the right where I tend to sit. Separate cushions allow you to swap them around for a more balanced appearance. I salute the mid century styling though.

People love taking the cushions off and sleeping there instead of on the guest bed in the room next door. For this, it's my all-time favorite sofa!
