We ordered the side table during a sale event, so we felt that we got a great deal. We REALLY wanted the marble top table, but it wasn't on sale at the time so we went with the walnut top. First off, the stainless steel frame is really nice - easy assembly and stainless is great quality. Very sturdy. The (veneered) walnut top, however, is just ok. It has already chipped at one corner and it scratches really easily - I don't feel that the veneer quality is very good. The walnut top also came with a faint sort of "haze" that hasn't really gone away. The top could easily be replaced in the future with solid walnut or a small remnant of marble, which may alleviate some of our problems. Finally, I wish the table was a bit heavier overall - perhaps the marble top would have alleviated this. It is fairly lightweight and easily moves around on our carpet. Overall, it is a nice piece at a fair price and we would purchase again (if/when they have another sale).
