We bought the Chair Chairs partly because they stacked. Our dining room is rather narrow and some of the chairs can be removed and stored when not in use. The only real downside on them is that the ivory finish is not very durable. In the first use one of my family had on jeans and the rivets on the jeans scratched the finish. We are also experiencing some light stress cracking of the finish above the place where the screws go into the seat.
