The desk was delivered super fast to my door - I had anticipated at least a week (possibly more), but the desk was in my apartment within 5 days. Installation was a breeze and I was able to set it up in my home "office" in no time. I've been looking for a desk like this for awhile - clean lines, large work surface, a hidden tray for papers or keyboards and what not. It was a little bigger than what I had in mind, even though I measured out the area, but I like that this desk is a focus area in my office. Somer reviewers mentioned the desk smudged frequently, but I haven't had this problem much at all - purchased the ivory color, so not sure if that has anything to do with anything. Am so delighted with this purchase!!

It's a fine desk at which to write. I store small items on the surface and love the added surface area when needed. I own the red version. It looks great but the glossy surfaces develops small scratches and needs to be cleaned frequently for fingerprints.

This desk is beautiful, and I love that it has the pull-out drawer/shelf, making it very easy to work at two different heights, whichever is more comfortable for a given task.

My one major gripe with the desk is that the surface is so polished that every fingerprint shows—and so delicate that even a softcover book slid over it will scratch. (At least they give you a cleaning cloth to take care of the former!) Additionally, the drawer sometimes pops out by itself and hits me in the belly when I'm working on the top surface.

All in all, it's a nice desk, but for the price, hopefully the 2.0 version will find better solutions to these kinks.

I have had my desk 51 for over a year now and I still love it and still receive emphatic compliments and covetous looks from folks when they first see it. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 blu dots is that the desk is a little too tall for me and it is not ideal for a laptop (or maybe I am just too short--5'0").

Great desk I love it had it for almost two years now, still looks as good as the day I got it, nice and spacious, the only thing I don't like is that there is no place to hide cords, otherwise its great.
